Maryland HBCUs Rally To Settle  $577 Million Lawsuit The African American community is coming together to support HBCUs in Maryland.

The state's Historically Black Colleges and Universities is embroiled in a 13-year battle for equitable funding.

A is a rally that's being held in Annapolis Wednesday, November 13th at 1:00 pm in support of Maryland's 4 HBCUs.

Faculty representatives from the four Maryland HBCUs – Morgan State University, Coppin State University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Bowie State University are planning a rally on in Annapolis to draw attention to the ongoing lawsuit over inequality at HBCUs.
