First, always keep your Jio SIM in SIM slot 1 of your Smartphone and ensure that mobile data is active on your Jio SIM. Keep ‘Data Roaming’ ON for seamless connectivity.
#2 NETWORK & INTERNET SETTINGS
Second, any change in mobile settings could result in the internet or network not working. Ensure that the device ‘Network & Internet’ settings are not changed.
#3 RECHARGE WITH THE APPROPRIATE PLAN
Recharge with the appropriate plan as per your data quota requirement. Kindly note that your first recharge for the smartphone will include an additional charge of Rs.99/- for Jio PRIME membership. DO NOT recharge with JioPhone plans if you are using your SIM in a smartphone. JioPhone recharge plans will only work on a JioPhone.
#4 MANAGE YOUR DATA CONSUMPTION
With Jio’s 4G high-speed internet, you can browse, download, and share data over WiFi Hotspot as well as stream HD videos without buffering. High-resolution videos will consume a higher amount of data and will result in faster data consumption. Visit the helpful tips section on the MyJio app for advice on managing your data usage.
#5 CHECK YOUR DATA BALANCE USING MYJIO
If you think your data speed is slow, it may be because you may have exhausted your data quota for the day. Open the MyJio app and check balance & plan validity. MyJio app also offers troubleshooting steps to help fix any issue.
#6 SET JIO TUNE USING JIOSAAVN APP

#7 UPDATE YOUR MOBILE DEVICE SOFTWARE PERIODICALLY
For optimum performance always ensure your device is on the latest software version. Periodically check for updates in Device settings; ‘System Updates’ section.
