High number of pupils in Nyeri School delays grade three exams

More than 160 grade three students at Nyeri Primary School joined other pupils from all over the country in the national assessment exercise that commenced on Monday. The learners were tested in mathematics, English and the integrated learning areas (all the other areas combined into one).
The school principal Mr Vincent Mwangi, said that the exercise went on smoothly with the only hiccup being that a large number of students had forced them to bring in teachers from other classes to assist with the exercise.
