Muhyidin: Both sides must be considered when dealing with Zakir Naik issue

Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said while Malaysia respect Dr Zakir Naik’s standing as an Islamic preacher, there are limits in the eyes of the law.

That is why, he said, police investigations are ongoing and that there has to be justice in the implementation of the rule of law.

He said this after officiating a seminar countering violent extremism on Monday at the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
