Most of our Fears(not dangers) are based on our assumptions.Basically we assume a negative outcome of a future event, it can be anything from a job interview to speaking in front of the public. A ''future event'' that doesn't exist anywhere other than our own imagination. One thing we need to understand is that the time we spend ''thinking'' about this fear is the time when it grows bigger and bigger, instead of that if we try to overcome any such fear as soon as we acknowledge them they won't be able to become too powerful. Practicing filling our mind with positive assumption instead of the negative ones can be really helpful in such a situation while when it comes to things like public speaking, positive imagination along with practicing speaking in front of a mirror can be of great help.
