Recognizing Negative Habits and Reinforcing Positive Habits

Recognizing Negative Habits and Reinforcing Positive Habits Habits either create the life we want or the life we don’t want. We can’t run away from habits but we can actively reinforce the positive ones and break the strand of negative habits.

How do we do that?

1. Become Aware of your habits so that you can see what you need to undo or what habits do you need to use as paint to roll over the undesirable habits.
2. Create a support system where you let friends and family know some of the habits you are working on undoing or building so that they don’t serve as a distraction bringing you back to those habits. Be your first line of support.
3. Believe that there are areas in your life that can improve and don’t sell your old version your yourself too much.
4. Be conscious of what you’re doing daily, why you’re doing them and what led to them so that you can understand how your habits are built.
5. Intervene everyday to create habits that reinforces a positive life experience rather than a negative one.
