Hertz suing for $32 MILLION website design gone wrong ||  WTF Web Development One of the world’s largest rental car brands is suing Accenture for breach of contract. Hertz claims Accenture failed to deliver when Hertz hired them to redesign its website and mobile apps.

In a lawsuit filed on April 19, Hertz demanded a jury trial plus repayment of attorneys’ fees, related costs along with unspecified millions in damages caused by Accenture’s poor performance and failure to deliver.

According to the filing, Hertz paid Accenture’s digital division over than $32 million from 2016 to 2018 to “redefine the customer experience on Hertz’s digital platforms” which included a redesigned website plus a “complementary suite of mobile applications” but that Accenture did not deliver.

So, uhhhhhhh...What the heck happened?
