U.S. 'ready for serious negotiations' with Iran

Washington is ready to engage in serious talks with Tehran... with no strings attached.
That's what Kelly Craft told the UNSC through a letter on Thursday.
The U.S. Ambassador to the UN, pointed out, his country's goal is to "prevent further endangerment of international peace and security,... or escalation by the Iranian regime."
Washington also justified the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani last week... as an act of self-defense.
However, Iran called the proposal "unbelievable"... as America slaps economic sanctions on Tehran.
Iran also claimed firing missiles at air bases hosting U.S. forces in Iraq was done in self-defense.
