Trump's approval rating increased, despite impeachment. Could that change?

Trump's approval rating increased, despite impeachment. Could that change? On the heels of Wednesday night's historic House vote to impeach President Trump, Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington responds to a Gallup poll showing that Trump's approval ratings had actually increased during the proceedings. It also showed support for Trump's impeachment and removal decreasing. Jayapal was one of 228 Democrats to vote "Yes" on both articles of impeachment against the 45th president. "I think polling is not static. I look at it because it is interesting to look at, but it is often changed by how leaders lead," says Jayapal. "If there were enough — even just a handful — of Republicans who were willing to do what is right for the country and lead, I think you would see that polling shift pretty quickly."
