The Victor Edelstein dress Princess Diana wore when dancing with actor John Travolta at a White House State dinner in 1985 is up for auction at Kerry Taylor Auctions, in London. Footage from Tuesday reveals the iconic gown, as well as two other dresses that also belonged to the late Princess of Wales.

Although worn several times by late Princess Diana, the midnight-blue velvet dress' most memorable moment was at the dinner hosted by then-US President Ronald Reagan, when Diana twirled one the dance floor to 'Saturday Night Fever' with John Travolta.

The gown is estimated at £250.000-350.000 ($323.000-452.000; €293.250-410.550) and will be sold, alongside her two other dresses, during the 'Passion for Fashion' auction on December 9.

for them, we have put some bedding in the enclosure so that they have a place to make a nest. And once they arrive then the whole circus starts again, because then we are going to offload all the crates from the truck and then we are going to bring the crates to the enclosure. We are not going to sedate the animals anymore because they have been through quite a bit already, and then we are going to let them, as calm as we can, walk out of the crate into the enclosures and then we are going to back off and give them some time for themselves. Some peace because they are pretty stressed animals."

SOT David van Gennep, Director of Animal Advocacy and Protection (AAP): "These animals went through hell, but it also means that the real job then starts for us because we have to make sure that they fully recover, and in order to do that we also need some help. Because we need to be able to take care of those animals, we need about 75 euros per animal per day to properly feed them, to make sure that the veterinarian has the right medicines to treat them, to make sure they have the right bedding, the right playing materials. So we hope that we will get some support from the general public, because we cannot do this alone."

C/U Tiger Five tigers that were rescued at the Polish-Belarusian border in November, arrived at their new home at an animal protection centre in Villena, Spain, on Monday evening.

The rescue tigers arrived in vans following several weeks of rehabilitation at a zoo in Poznan, Poland. Footage shows members of the Animal Advocacy and Protection group (AAP) welcoming the felines to the wildlife protection centre in south-east Spain, where they hope to make a full recovery.

The animals were discovered in deplorable conditions inside a lorry bound to Russia's Dagestan, but lack of official documentation impeded their crossing at the Polish-Belarusian border, and they were then left unattended resulting in the death of one of the tigers and sickness in several others.
