Greta Thunberg: We Must Make World Leaders Protect Our Future

Greta Thunberg: We Must Make World Leaders Protect Our Future Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg was in the northern Italian city of Turin on Friday to participate in the Fridays for Future demonstration, a global movement inspired by her activism.

Speaking to crowds of supporters, she said that as the COP25 climate summit comes to a close "world leaders are still trying to run away from their responsibilities, but we have to make sure that they cannot do that".

During a speech she gave at the summit in Madrid this week, Thunberg accused world governments of "creative PR" over their climate crisis stances.

On 11 December, 16-year-old Thunberg became the youngest person to be named Person of the Year by Time Magazine.
