Can two Narcissists get together? The Inverted Narcissist Explained.
Ever wondered what happens if two Narcissists get involved? Although another Narcissist is not their first choice of partner, in romantic relationships Narcissists can and do at times end up with Inverted Narcissists or "the codependent Narcissist".
Both lack the emotional depth to maintain a healthy relationship and both the Narcissist and the Inverted Narcissist are manipulative, deceptive and sneaky. These Narc and Inverted Narc 'relationships" are actually "situationships" based upon an unstable foundation of lies and falsehoods. Similar to the rebound relationship both the Narcissist and the Inverted Narcissist are using the other. The Narc for fuel and the Inverted Narcissist because they can't be alone. By never really communicating about how they truly feel they maintain the illusion of being happy. This is the perfect facade - they don't let 'reality" get in the way of their mutually held delusion. They lie to each other as much as they lie to themselves but neither draws attention to that fact.
These situationships can last BUT it doesn't mean either party are happy. They just hide the way they feel from each other.
