2020 Commonplace Book Challenge

2020 Commonplace Book Challenge 2020 Commonplace Book Challenge

I don’t know if any of you have heard about this thing called commonplace books, but I just heard about it, and I am 100% on board.

Ryan Holiday, author of Ego is the Enemy, Trust me I’m lying, The Daily Stoic, and so many more great books. He learned about this system from his mentor Robert Greene, author of The 48 Laws of Power, Mastery, The Laws of Human Nature, and so many more as well.

Both have used a commonplace book to help them take notes on what they read, things they hears, quotes they come across, and ideas and thoughts they have. They use this to organize everything to write future books.

I am now challenging all of you to keep a commonplace book in 2020.
12 different categories for areas of improvement, with 366 days of putting one thing in a category. At the end of the year, you should have around 30 ideas for each category we are tracking.

The system I am using also comes with four additional boxes. I would challenge each of you to come up with four BONUS categories you are looking to improve in, and try to add to those as well.

Check below for the supplies I am using, and join me in this 2020 commonplace book challenge to kick this new decade off the right way!
