The wedding of Kelly + Jonathan || Rain on a wedding day is DEFINITELY good luck!

They say rain on a wedding day is good luck, and we couldn't agree more!

From the moment we started discussing Kelly + Jonathan's wedding day agenda, we were hooked! Not only because they were planning a beautiful garden wedding at one of our favorite venues, Whitehall House & Gardens, but because they're just a super rad couple who love to have a great time and live life to the fullest!

When their big day came, we were so pumped about capturing the moments of it, that we actually forget to even check the forecast before heading off to see them. We knew that if we were in their presence, then the good vibes would just roll no matter what. Oh, and they did, all night long!
Midway through the morning on their wedding day, it appeared that some pretty severe storms would be making their way through the area (insert sad face here). And while their planned garden themed wedding (along with their first look location and many other parts of their day) would have to take a slight detour, the torrential downpour never once bothered Kelly + Jonathan. They were just so freakin' ready to declare their vows to one another and let the celebrations begin! Oh, and the weather eventually cleared up beautifully, just in time for a wonderful sunset portrait session with them!

We simply admire so many traits about these two (and if you watch their story, you'll see that it's clear so many others do, too), but what stands out at the top of our list is their kindheartedness towards others, endless laughter with one another and the fact that they persevere through anything (oh, and they both love a great adventure which we REALLY connect with). We never saw either of them without a smile on their face or standing alone. They ensured every single guest on their wedding had the time of their lives and we did, too! If a torrential downpour for hours on end can't put a damper on their wedding day, then we're pretty certain that these two can make it through anything, together!
