I was thinking about the moon and other planets and moons like Pluto's Europa, which is is primarily made of silicate rock and has a water-ice crust and probably an iron–nickel core. It has a very thin atmosphere, composed primarily of oxygen.
Almost all water on Mars today exists as ice, though it also exists in small quantities as vapor in the atmosphere.
Why did life evolve only on planet Earth?
Earth is the only astronomical object known to have bodies of liquid water on its surface, although several exoplanets have been found with the right conditions to support liquid water.
