Moving to NYC (Advices that people DO NOT tell you).

Moving to NYC (Advices that people DO NOT tell you). If you are curious about the safety of the location where you are going to move in or where you currently live in NYC you have two options:

Google Safety Map: These one allows you to look at the boroughs of NY by colors being purple or red the worst areas, and light yellow to no color the best; example, just type "Bronx google safety map" and you will be able to see the areas highlighted.

Citizen App: This one allows you to see the crime around your area which is great. You are going to see red dots around the whole city of NY, and when you click on it, it will describe the type of crime that occurred. The only thing with this one is that you must be in NYC in order to download it.

The Apps that I mentioned before are:

Transit App: Which helps you to track the time of the subway.

Mercari: Where you can buy brand new and used clothes, and also items.

Roomster, Roomi, and Craigslist: Apps, and sites where you can find roommates as well as apartment.

I really hope all these advices helped you somehow, and if they did please let me know. I would love to hear from you!
