May 11th, 2019. Foals typically stand within an hour after birth, are nursing in two hours, and the placenta is delivered in 3 hours. In this video you’ll see our Foals first attempts at standing and the moments after he successfully gets to his feet. He was right on schedule and standing within his first hour of life.
