Organ transplantation & vaccines: I need your protection

My name is Borislava. I’m 25 years old.
When I was a child, my kidneys failed.
I needed a transplant to save my life.
Then, as a young adult, I needed another new kidney.
This time, my grandmother, Nedka, gave me the greatest gift of all.
She donated a kidney and saved me life.
Today, we both live fulfilling and healthy lives.
But I know I am vulnerable to infection.
I take immunosuppressive medication because of my kidney condition.
This means I cannot have some key vaccines.
I rely on others for protection.
I rely on my family and my community.
I rely on my wonderful colleagues and friends.
And I rely on you.
Please vaccinate.
