Making a Mesquite Bowl from a log on the side of the road!!!

Here in AZ, there was a crazy storm Thanksgiving night, which knocked down a bunch of trees, flooded different areas, took out power to thousands, even produced a couple tornadoes!

I picked up a good sized log, and began to turn bowls out of any piece that worked. I decided to make this bowl special for my mom as a Christmas gift!
