A group of Dusky-faced Tanagers and a subadult, male Summer Tanager feed on the platform. Dusky-faced Tanagers thrive in stream side habitats and generally travel in vocal, single species groups. This male Summer Tanager's feathers are in transition from the olive yellow of females and immatures to the brilliant red of adult males.
