2019 Norway House Gingerbread Wonderland

2019 Norway House Gingerbread Wonderland 2019 marks the 5th year that the Norway House in Minneapolis Minnesota did Gingerbread Wonderland. This event allows young and old with beginners to professionals make amazing creations for you to see.

Each creation has the name of people who made the house along with the name and a short description telling you more about it.

Many of the houses were inspired by Local or Norwegian landmarks, while others had more whimsical inspiration.

Here is some information about a few of our favorites.

In keeping with Norse tradition two of the houses had Nisse which are mythological creatures associated with the winter solstice.

The secret holding together the large Saint Paul Cathedral is apparently gummy bears.

There were Viking ships ready to sail.

The Split rock light house was there to guide the way.

The I Spy elf house had many challenges to find.

The dragon play land brought warmth to season.

The house from Up was ready to fly away.

We left with many fantastic ideas and inspired to create houses for next year.

The event is great and we hope to visit again, hopefully you will to.
