✍  Laura Whitmore is poised to replace Caroline Flack as the new host of Winter Love Island, according to new reports.  The star, who is currently dating Love Island’s narrator Iain Stirling, is about to be announced as the new host, stepping in at the last minute after Caroline withdrew from this year’s season.  Not only that, Iain will be stepping out from the voiceover booth and will host spin-off show Aftersun alongside Laura.  According to MailOnline, the announcement is to be made imminently.  Metro.co.uk has contacted Love Island reps for further comment.  I have been scrambling to find a replacement for Caroline, who announced yesterday she would no longer be taking part on January’s series, following an assault charge made against her last week.  Maya Jama and Laura Whitmore became the bookies favourites to take over the show, with wide reports revealing Laura had been called in for secret meetings the same day Caroline quit.  It was also claimed that former Islander Olivia At ...
