Ilm and Hikkmah - Putting the Hadith in their Proper Place

Ilm and Hikkmah are on eof the basic polarities of the Qur'an. Understand this pair of meaning relative to each other opens up the Qur'an. Not understanding these terms, Ilm and Hikkmah, makes it immpossible to understand the Qur'an.

The Torah is Ilm, and the Injil is Hikkmah. Ofcourse the Torah contains Hikkmah, and the Injil contains Ilm. However, they are meant to compliment, and suppliment each other.

While, the Qur'an contains both polarities, Allah (sbt) does supplimen the implicit hikkmah of the Qur'an with the explicity hikmah of the Akwaal of Rasul'Allah (sws), and his Sunnah. This video discussed the relationship between all these realities.
