The worst thing you could ever do is declare your dream, step into the arena —and then stop because of a hater, critic or troll.
Remember:
Everyone wants to be in the arena of life, tapping into their potential and chasing what matters to them.
But few have the courage to do so —and when they see you out there doing it:
➡️ They’ll bring you down.
➡️ They’ll tell you to “get real."
➡️ They’ll give you unsolicited feedback.
All of this is designed to sooth their own pain of untapped potential —because we all know deep down we are much more powerful and capable than we give ourselves credit for.
So if you’re out there navigating the seas of chasing your dreams, be careful who you listen to.
As the brilliant Dr. Brené Brown says 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
"For me, if you’re not in the arena also getting your ass kicked, I’m not interested in your feedback.”
How do you ensure you don’t stop your momentum?
1️⃣ Surround yourself with A players who hold you to the fire and are further along than you are.
2️⃣ Connect with your mighty mission at leas once a day: this becomes your compass to make decisions.
3️⃣ Create powerful habits, rituals and routines that allow you to let go of doubt, uncertainty and the inner critic.
4️⃣ Take one courageous step towards your mountain every day —and celebrate the hell out of it.
5️⃣ Release other people’s opinions of you and remember if you trigger them…that has nothing to do with you.
6️⃣ Seek feedback from those with aligned values, mentors and coaches who have the power of perspective.
7️⃣ Allow yourself to have a bad moment, a few bad hours, a day or even a week —but don’t ever fucking quit.
