CNVP Albania recognised as Gender Champion for its contribution to gender equality in rural areas The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. It was started by activists at the inaugural Women’s Global Leadership Institute in 1991 and continues to be coordinated each year by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership.


Embassy of the Netherlands in Albania, in the framework of 16 Days of Activism, Orange the World, #16DaysofActivism #OrangetheWorld, selected 16 so called “Champions of Gender equality “ men and women from all over Albania who inspire women and girls to follow their dreams in Albania shared their stories.


CNVP Albania was selected as Gender Champion 12 in recognition of its contribution toward gender equality and women economic empowerment in most needy areas, rural ones.
