Airlines will now let you carry TVs for free

Passengers will now only need to pay the Oman Airports handling charge of OMR 4 when a television is included as part of their checked-in baggage.

Passengers who have planned travel to Dhaka can carry an LCD TV measuring up to 43 inches at no extra charge.

While those who carry TVs between 44 and 55 inches have to pay an extra charge of OMR 10.

The maximum dimensions of the TV cannot exceed 55 inches in length.
