'I’ve missed an exam or an assessment deadline, what do I do?'

If you have missed an exam or assessment deadline you will be given another opportunity to sit the exam or submit the assignment at a later date. However your next attempt will be capped at 40%. To avoid the capped mark and protect your attempt, you can submit Extenuating Circumstances, if your reason for missing the deadline was due to ill health or something out of your control. We can support you through this process, including guidance on how to fill in the form and advise on the necessary evidence to support your claim.
