Wainuiomata wall transformed by lego 'Banksy'

Wainuiomata wall transformed by lego 'Banksy' It's not your typical lego creation. One by one giant spray-painted lego heads have been popping up, brightening a boring concrete retaining wall near the Lower Hutt suburb of Wainuiomata.

The artist - dubbed the 'Wainuiomata Banksy' - has so far stencilled on nine block characters, and locals who drive over the hill each day are eager to see what new one might be there. The artwork is now also drawing in curious out-of-towners.

But, who is 'Blocksy' should we call him? And why are they doing this?

Reporter Emma Hatton and Visual Journalist Dom Thomas went to investigate.
