We all waste time on apps and feel very bad after. The apps are designed to grab your attention and keep it. This video is an example of a really simple idea I'm using to avoid overusing apps that I don't want to delete but also don't want to use to much.
By adding an extra layer of uncomfortable friction via needing to swipe right excessively, you create a mental opening to just say "nevermind" and resist the unconscious urge to open the app and waste your time.
