Do You Need Special Fluids for Your Vehicle?

Do You Need Special Fluids for Your Vehicle? After reorganizing my shop, I noticed I have a lot of specialized fluids, mainly for Honda and Acura vehicles. In the past I’ve spoken with fluid manufactures that have said things like, “our ____ fluid works just as well as OE”. I’ve always been skeptical of statements like this, but I’m sure there are other solutions out there that I’m not aware of.

Perhaps you can enlighten me and provide alternatives to the special fluids I’ve used for years. Or, you might reaffirm the theory that I have, if you want to be sure it works, use OE stuff.

I look forward to your comments.
