'Did You Know' Series – Diverse Mission

This week on our final “Did You Know” episode, Corporal Dalton Holmes of the U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard gives us some insight into the diverse mission here at Marine Barracks Washington. Since January 1, 2019, the Marines have conducted 1,433 ceremonial events and 34 parades. While Barracks Marines are known for their ceremonial excellence, they continue to hone their infantry skills while stationed here, ensuring they are prepared for future combat roles when they leave the Oldest Post.
