Rock Hill water main break prompts boil water advisory throughout York County

A large water main break in Rock Hill has lead officials to issue a boil water advisory throughout York County, South Carolina. A 24" water main at the Rock Hill water filter plant on Cherry Road is responsible for the flooding, which has spread along portions of Cherry Road. As a result of the water main break, Winthrop has cancelled remaining classes for Wednesday.
