Ingredients:
4-6 karela (bitter gourd)
2 diced onions
2 diced tomatoes
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Method:
1. Heat up 1/4 cup oil and fry karela for 10 minutes. Remove and put on paper towel. Keep aside.
2. In the same oil, add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds, fry for a minute.
3. Add onions and fry until translucent, about 5 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes as well as the remaining spices and fry for 10 minutes.
5. Add Karela and cook together for 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot with rice or roti.
