Child collecting waste from his sitting on the terraces receives praise

A video taken by a football fan of a child collecting waste from his seat on the terrace has received lots of praise on social media.

The child, Mazid Al Mazidi, attended the Super Cup match between Dhofar and Sur Clubs which was held at the Al Rustaq Sports Complex on Friday, September 13, where Dhofar Club won with 4 goals to 0.

Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi, Chairman of Oman Olympic Committee commented on the video and invited Al Mazidi to visit his office to meet him.

Al Busaidi said: "I was delighted to meet the child, Mazid Al Mazidi , whose authentic Omani intuition was the talk of the community during the past few days after a video spread of him cleaning his seat after a match at Al Rustaq Sports Complex."

He added: "Thank you Mazidi for your adherence to the culture of hygiene, following our religion's instructions as well as the teachings of parents and grandparents."
