Slow pitch softball hitting tips are good for hitters but what about pitchers. Skilled hitters are not easy to fool and as a pitcher you need a way to slow down a power hitting team. Great hitters have great timing and home run power, so how many videos have you seen that will tell you how to interrupt a great hitter's timing? I can't find any! In this video, I explain why pump fake pitches, double-clutching, and elaborate pre-pitch motion may not be the best way to break a great hitter's timing. Great hitters start their "clock" at a specific point in your delivery, and all the pre-pitch motion in the world won't change that. It takes about 1.4 seconds for the average pitch to reach the hitter's hitting zone, plenty of time to forget your pre-pitch gyrations. There's another way to make the hitter reset his "clock" much later in the process, giving the hitter less time to adjust.
