Shade Cloth Comparison: Aluminet, 90% or 70% Black Fabric?

Shade Cloth Comparison: Aluminet, 90% or 70% Black Fabric? In today's video, I give you my 7 Best Tips for Beating the Heat in a Van! 1) Park the van with a North--South orientation, 2) Use bug screens on the front windows, 3) Use survival-space blankets to reflect heat, 4) Use Aluminet shade cloth to keep your back doors open, 5) drape a sheet over the side doors to allow ventilation but block the sun, 6) have a powered vent like a Fantastic Fan to add extra ventilation 7) use a windshield cover on the windshield. As part of that, I'll also give you my final thoughts and comparison of three different kinds of shade cloth: 1) Aluminet (aluminized fabric), 2) 90% shade black fabric 3) 70% shade black fabric. To me, Aluminet is the clear winner and I gave the other two away but kept and still use the Aluminet. The 90% blocked too much airflow, so I gave it away immediately. If you don't need airflow, just buy and use a survival blanket for shade. The 70% did have good ventilation, but I didn't think it reflected heat away as well as the Aluminet did. It was also heavier and bulkier than the Aluminet. In every way, the Aluminet was superior so it has my 100% recommendation over the others!!
