Days ago, it was announced that Big Hit acquired Source Music, the company of GFriend. Basically, that just means that Source Music is now a part of Big Hit. However, this is misunderstood by people. GFriend is not transferred as a Big hit group, they are still under Source Music. The merging between the two companies would work like this.
Number one. Source Music will spend money on their own. The trainees and artists are still on their own. So dumb bitches better stop saying that GFriend will rob money from BTS. No. Shut up. Source Music will still do expenses by itself. They will just be asking for guidance from Big Hit.
It is like this: Big Hit is the parent and Source music is their grown up child. The parent would adopt the child but the child will stay independent by spending on their own. They can ask guidance from their parents.
I can hear Wednesday Family song from far away. There will also be another company who will merge with big hit which will be announced soon. I am so excited for this! It is said that this company has also produced successful groups.
This is a huge step for big hit to be a part of the big 3 or even change the history of kpop. Who knows?
