Fitch kept its credit rating for South Korea at 'AA-'.
Seoul has managed to maintain the Global ratings agency's fourth highest rating for the seventh year in a row, despite geopolitical risks.
Fitch cited robust external finances, steady macroeconomic performance, and sound fiscal management as the reasons for the decision.
But due to worsening exports and facility investment for semiconductors, the agency believes Korea will see slower economic growth of two percent this year.
