Paul Pogba has been named in Manchester United's squad for their pre-season tour of Australia despite his efforts to force an Old Trafford exit. The French midfielder was part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad that departed for Australia on Sunday ahead of two fixtures Down Under against Perth Glory and Leeds United.United were left sweating over whether their £89million man would join the squad after he failed to report for the start of pre-season training. That led to the club delaying the announcement of their pre-season tour squad until Sunday morning, but Pogba was on the list. However, there is no guarantee Pogba will still be a United player by the time United kick-off their Premier League season at home to Chelsea on August 11.He is trying to force through a move to either Real Madrid or his former club Juventus, with his agent Mino Raiola saying last week that his client was in the process of leaving United.Pogba attended a promotional event for his sponsor Adidas in New York on Tuesday but since then his Twitter account has been silent. He did, however, post Instagram footage in the early hours of Saturday morning of him training in Central Park. Pogba was given extra time off last week along with United's other international players but the majority of his team-mates returned to training on Monday. He was nowhere to be seen at United's Carrington training complex on Thursday when David de Gea and Marcus Rashford returned for their standard blood and biometric testing.United value Pogba at £150m, considerably higher than either suitor has been prepared to offer so far.The United party will meet on Sunday morning for a final training session before heading to Manchester Airport, where they will catch a direct 17-hour flight to Perth — a trip which will set a new record as the longest non-stop flight ever out of the city.
