FDC and DP opens up awar to Bobi Wine and People power

DP SHOULD FIGHT TO RESTORE ITS LOST TRUST, INSTEAD OF FIGHTING BOBI/PP

Cumulatively Uganda's oldest party DP, has lost members/Ugandans trust due to a number of miscalculated actions during Mao's office tenure.

It started in 2016, when Nambooze proposed administrative amendments and rebranding within the party.

Ruthlessly Mao/Mbidde unleashed an afore seen force in crushing and silencing her though she had all true DP diehards and the entire Buganda region DP members behind her.

Mbidde and Mao's connivance with Kaihura, M7 and Uganda police succeeded in silencing Nambooze but patched serious scratches on DP leaders trust and awoke Ugandans to the DP NRM link.

In 2016-17, m7 directly "Reshuffled" members serving into DP into NRM government.

The raid took the party chairman himself along members like Nakiwala Kiyingi straight into cabinet. This rose eyebrows but NEC reaction proved an abuse to peoples trust.

NEC went silent over this and with time it came to pass on the outside, but it left the DP- NRM links widely open to fore sighted members.

Months later, the party lost its secretary general Bilekereawo then Treasury Issa Kikungwe to death.

These deaths literary carried with it a chunk of the parties last block trust.

Mao declared a year of moarning after which DP was to replace the SG, years on, with another NEC member dead and others officially leaving the party no replacements have ever been done. Trust Tared!

The assumed architect of DP failures M7 has drained DPs trust by coming up on several occasions to inform us DP is under his armpits. It started with his mention of "GOOD DP" Mbidde and he gave him the EALA seat followed by his recent uterence that "DP can't be without him"

These statements awakened Ugandans to salient ground facts like, Mao's wife who was working in statehouse, DP headquarters rent being paid by statehouse, Mbidde uses M7s police as his own, NRM diehards given DP cards where party is strong, strong DP contestants being denied party cards and given to weaker ones etc.

The last drops of trust seem to be dripping out with the emergency of Bobi Wine, recruitment of Bwanika, Mabikke, Mukaaku, Chameleon and all renown political rejects into DP ranks with nothing to add to the party.

The DP bloc was outrightly named an nrm faction (DP-NRM bloc) whose aim is to give DP cards to nrm cadres to hoodwink change loving Ugandans into voting Nrm indirectly.

Bwanika the self appointed spokesman of this coalition has betrayed it on several occasions due to his inconsistency in balancing NRM, fighting true opposition figures and acting opposition. On each of his public appearences more members loose trust in the party than those who regain it

The coalitions politics of targeting strong opposition figures Lukwago, Mpuuga, KB, Nambooze later Bobi Wine has totally dripped out the last drop of trust from even a blind member living our party bare.

True DP members we cant leave our party and work hard to see it clean.

I feel we need fight to restore peoples trust rebuilt on the tenets of "TRUTH AND JUSTICE"

Its obvious Ugandans have transfered their trust to PP and individuals KB/Bobi Wine.

Currently the parties youth wing UYD members and headquarters headquarters have become centres for cutting political deals. Its a fact 86.7% of youths there routinely visit state house for political deals to fight opposition from within!

What we need now is not fighting those people but work on our lost trust.

Our party has reached a level of just playing gimmicks and tricks to maintain political relevancy, which isn't sustainable.

I always remind my party bosses, this is an open minded generation that can't be deceived, blackmailed or even bribed into buying evil whole sale.
This was displayed last elections when they voted FDC all over Kla bse DP had denied its cards to proper people.

Let us not fight people power/FDC but fight for our lost trust.
