Suzanne Ciani "8th wave" [velocity of love] (1985/'86)

Suzanne Ciani Suzanne Ciani breaks my record of being the first new age video I’ve ever done. I’m not sure if her 8th wave represents solstice, but that was the topic of an event I attended yesterday. Each picture was taken from results involving a solstice or the sun, and in 1985 or ’86 (the jackets state 1986, the record labels, 1985. So I used both years). Please note that search engines can be inaccurate and images can be mistagged with the wrong year. All pictures used were in the order of the search results. I don’t discriminate; I prefer this “mixed bag” approach. The amazing thing is, there’s a variety of images, meaning “solstice” can be interpreted in many different ways.
“Velocity of Love” was my first female new age album (cassette), one of, if not the, first new age album that I ever owned, and I instantly fell in love with it at first listen. When the 1995 compact disc reissue was pressed (I was too young to afford a 1986 original release), I just had to have it. The music was just too pristine to just keep listening to my tape.
So now it’s 2019, I go to a solstice event, and this video, flash-backing on this album’s years, is a reflection of still listening to an album coming on three and a half decades ago.
