Formula E lets you decide who gets to go faster

Formula E lets you decide who gets to go faster I hate popularity contests. But I love things that go fast. So I'm pretty torn on this weird rule.

Formula E races have a fun, extra component to them where fans can vote to decide which race car driver gets a speed boost during the race. It literally pays off to be popular, which is a shame in my book but is a nice way for fans to stay connected in the sport.
