Basic Circuitry Components | Redstone Tutorial: 1 Some parts are hard to understand because I talk pretty fast and I could've pronounced some words more clearly. I tried to talk slower, but I will try to fix that for the next video. I will be getting a better mic for the next video, instead of a headset mic.

Terms:
Component: any block that can output and/or accept a redstone signal
Conductive (opaque) block: a block that a redstone signal can be sent through
Delay: amount of time it takes for a component to power on and off
Game tick: 1/20 of a second
Lock: to keep a repeater in its current power state (on or off)
Redstone tick: 1/10 is a second
Signal length: duration a signal is on for
Signal strength: how strongly powered redstone dust is from 0 (unpowered) to 15 (max power)
Strong signal: a signal that can power any component including usually through a block
Weak signal: a signal that can power any component through a block except redstone dust
