Roberto Firmino has operated as a false-nine impeccably for the majority of Klopp’s tenure, but a goalscoring striker is believed to be high on the priority list which could see the Brazilian drop back into a deeper role. Timo Werner could be available as the German runs down his current contract at RB Leipzig, he has just one year remaining on his deal which could force the club to cash in.
