Vermicomposting, a source of livelihood for women in Mizoram

Aizawl (Mizoram), [India] 20 April (ANI): To improve the lives of urban women of Mizoram, Durtlang Self Help Group was formed under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM), which was taken up by Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation Department. Under this scheme, the group started a vermicomposting process. The group was also formed with an aim to upgrade the women folk.
