I made this video to encourage you to surround yourself with the dreamers of the world – people who are busy creating bright new futures for themselves and the world at large.
What’s the benefit in connecting with others, swapping stories, and sharing your entrepreneurial experiences? Passionate, motivated people are living proof of what’s possible. Being around them gives you the inspiration and gumption to go after your own dreams.
Here’s what I know to be true: Energy, passion, and success are contagious. If you lack drive, don’t give up. Instead, get inspired by fellow entrepreneurs. You can find your own entrepreneur network pretty much anywhere these days – online, in your community, or within your personal circle.
Are you trying to build a business? Write a book? Pitch your invention on Shark Tank? Whatever your dreams and goals may be, surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers who are in the same boat. When I started my company, I deliberately surrounded myself with successful people who encouraged my growth and helped me succeed.
Your entrepreneur network can be a wellspring of helpful information. Your proximity to greatness can provide you with a boost of confidence and a motivational jump-start. And you get a group of peers with whom you can celebrate and commiserate.
If you’re a dreamer, surround yourself with the dreamers who’ve stood where you’re standing. Embrace the empowerment and support you receive from others. Feed off the positive energy of successful, positive people. And once you’ve achieved your dreams, pay it forward by inspiring a new network of up-and-coming entrepreneurs!
