In this Our Changing Climate environmental video essay, I look at ecofeminism in relation to the environment and climate change. I specifically look at whether ecofeminism is a viable lens through which to understand our current environmental and gender-related circumstances. I dissect the thought of ecofeminist scholars and activists in order to understand how gender and the environment are intertwined. I make comparisons to the environmental justice movements and ultimately ask the questions, what is ecofeminism and is it a useful lens to understand feminism and environmentalism.
