God does not want us to be uninformed of the DEVASTATING effects of repressed - unresolved anger. Anger is a normal emotion. Yet how we DEAL with it is the difference between spiritual life (happiness - joy) and spiritual death (unhappiness - joylessness) in one form or another. Wanda learned this the hard way, and the greatest reason she shares parts of her life publicly is to help OTHERS realize the deadly affects of unresolved anger -- so others TOO can walk in maximized peace and joy with God in this very evil world. And of course ... she testifies to glorify and thank her precious Savior Jesus for delivering and rescuing her from the deadly affects of unresolved, buried anger.
God tells us in Hebrews 12:15: "See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled."
How can we fail to "come short of the grace of God?" when addressing the topic of anger/bitterness? By failing to realize (or failure to USE it) that the WEAPON OF FORGIVENESS has the potency of a SPIRITUAL NUCLEAR WARHEAD. This weapon is not to be put in a beautiful showcase just to be looked at like a collector's item or thrown in the corner of the room to collect dust. It's to be used! Stap it to your body like an "open carry firearm" where you can get at it in a few brief seconds when you need to use it for your SPIRITUAL - EMOTIONAL PROTECTION!
