How to Create the Perfect Sales Funnel What's up guys? Dane Shelford here. In today's video, I want to talk to you about, how to create the perfect sales funnel. So stay tuned.

Okay, so the number one ingredient that goes into creating the perfect sales funnel is, drumroll ... Common sense. Probably not the answer that you're expecting, but common sense. You know, there's all these magic tools and magic systems and fucking potions and whatever else out there that is going to get you the perfect amount of customers and give you your ideal lifestyle and grow your business and all that sort of stuff. But at the end of the day, it's common sense. Your customers have a problem, and they want to solve those problems and achieve their ideal outcomes. So what goes on in between getting from where they are now to where they want to be? How does your product and service help them do that?

So all the tools and tactics and things out there, sure they help. They help you automate things, they help you deliver your message, and all that sort of stuff. But if your message and what you're actually talking about, and everything you do and say isn't structured around fucking common sense, then you're completely wasting your time. You need to understand your problems that your customers are having, you need to speak to those problems, you need to then understand what are your customers doing online, when they've got these problems? Are they going on Google and typing in queries?

We have a customer who provides a service of retrofit double glazing window. So for us, we went, "Okay, well, what problems are your customers having before they even know who you are, what your product is, and achieving their ideal outcome?" So soundproofing, a lot of people have problems with noise coming through their windows. So we found online a huge amount of queries that people are searching for all around, how to soundproof my window? Ideal solutions for soundproofing my window. Things around heat loss and making a room warmer in the winter and reducing power on heating a room and all that sort of things. There's all these problems that these people are having. And that related to the product and service, because the product and service provides a solution to those problems. But a lot of people in those early stages, they don't understand that.

So we just create helpful and relevant content that helps them in this situation. And we put it in places that they are, we know that going on Google and typing in these things. So we create content that Google can find. And then once they find us on Google, then they know who we are. They have an awareness of who we are, and then we create a funnel on educating them further on what the solutions are. And to use that example again, double glazing is a solution for soundproofing your home, minimizing heat loss, all those sort of things, but then there comes a whole other things that you can educate your customers. Like pricing, why it's so expensive. Lead times, how long it takes to put the products in line. All these sort of things as they go along your funnel.

And then once they get to a point where they feel like they know enough, and they pick up the phone, and they ask you for a quote, that sales process is so, so much easier. And it makes your job easier because you're speaking to qualified customers. They all ready know what the cost is going to be. They all ready know what to expect with lead times. They all ready know all these things. And it's all been done automatically. And it's a funnel that's been built out from common sense. This one element alone has resulted in millions of dollars of sales. And it's simple, it's a simple concept to actually just sit down and go right. What does my customer go through before they even know what I am? Before they even know what our solution is? And then how can we help them along their journey? Where can we put content? How can we attract them? How can we nurture them and educate them? And then how can we give them our offer and convert them into our customer?

So there you have it, how to create the perfect sales funnel. It's probably not what you were expecting. But I think it's really, really important to drill home because there's so many tools and tactics and things out there. And I'm guilty of it, I love new technology and new things that Facebook are doing ,and all these little tactics and tools that you can add in. They help, but if you're not building your funnel around common sense, then you're wasting your time.
